I chose these lyrics for my website because I love the "big cats" and, to me, tigers are the most beautiful of those. I love cats of all sizes but, if I could, I would have a pet tiger! The "eye of the tiger" holds the whole world. Looking into the eye of any large animal can be intimidating.  I have stared into the eyes of a tiger and they are not only intimidating, they are BEAUTIFUL!

Cats all love the "thrill of the fight" with their prey. My life has been a "fight" since I presented with my first symptoms of Raynaud's Syndrome in the late 1970's. I believe the "thrill" of conquering all the hurdles that have been thrown in my path has kept me going.

One of my favorite pastimes is puzzles.  It doesn’t matter if it is words, numbers, jigsaw, or anything else, put it in front of me and I will do my darnedest to solve it.  I have been dealing with the affects of my diseases for about 30 years and partly what has kept me alive is fighting the challenges presented on a daily basis and learning from them.  I don’t give up easily.  I have never been one to sit back and wait to see what life might be. I have made my life what it is and I am proud of that fact with all of the ups and downs along the way.

Life after lung transplantation will be just another challenge on my road of life.  I plan to fight hard and rise to the challenge of this new "rival".
